Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith, JD, MBA, is a co-founder and partner of Bearing Point Capital (BPC). Bringing 30 years of strategy, leadership and management experience to his role within the company, Patrick helps manage the strategic direction of BPC to ensure the highest levels of customer service and unbiased advice for each and every client.

With an industry background as a credit officer, trust officer and wealth advisor, Patrick provides a personalized client experience, helping each client design and implement a comprehensive legacy plan supported by their wealth management strategy.

Patrick proudly serves his community as well. He is a former trustee for the Jeremiah Program, having served impoverished single mothers and their children to disrupt poverty’s cycle. He also served as a trustee for The Convent of the Visitation school in Minnesota. He currently sits on the Legal Committee for Crystal Downs Country Club in his home state of Michigan. Patrick is a life-long musician, loves food and wine and enjoys anything he can do outdoors.

Patrick graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1990 and earned his law degree and MBA from Notre Dame in 1995.
